There are three celebrities that are serious business to me - Michael Jackson, Adrian Paul, and Oprah. I love Oprah. I've purchased every issue of O Magazine since June 2000 and I only missed that inaugural May issue because I didn't realize she had a magazine out.
A few years ago when I had personal issues, I looked to the wisdom of Oprah's Texas Ranger emotional svengali Dr. Phil whom I recognized as full of crap, but he was part of the Oprah entourage so I sat through his shenanigans (they didn't help me either, btw) and pretended to be persuaded by some old pseudo 'no-nonsense' tough love hook-up (n*gga please). So it's with great sadness that I admit that these last few issues of O Magazine have gone unread, namely 'cause ain't nothin in there but pictures of Gwenyth Paltrow and ads for clothes I can't buy at Macys and makeup they don't sell at Walgreens. A few months ago, they even had full frontal nudity of old chicks, not cougars - like super old ladies and super full frontal. I don't know what the article was about.
I'm floored and a little confounded. I don't know what to do Digg, Hunin. I feel like I've lost my best good friend. How can you get too young to watch something? This universal, new world book club thing is weird. Oprah's jumping the shark before my very eyes. I think your blog was right on. And that's so sad to have to admit. And Ron has said nasty things about her "auntie breasts" and I don't know how to defend her honor. Help. - Weirded out in Michigan

My mother is still a slave to the O, and has my hotmail account jammed with her web classes, which she never looks at but can tell her friends she follows. Eckhart Tole's book was last commandment she followed by reading and tried to get me to -- it was zen anti-ego fortune cookie messages that anyone with life experience over 20 knows. I determined this after 2 pages.
No one in the media can be trusted, hence the creation of this Dominion. From where we can fight back with scathing critiques like boiling tar poured over the edges of these fortress walls onto the socializing agents of programming trying to conquer our hears and minds.
