At any rate, I did shed tears at Obama's speech. He's a great orator, I like his ideas and his motivations and I hope he wins and McCain loses.
I'm not sure where I'll land when I stop moving about, but I want to spend some time in Alaska and Hawaii, which are places I either can't get to by truck or where the company doesn't send me.
An etiquette question just occurred to me. Do I reply to comments on my blog, on my blog, or to the commenter as I'm doing here?

Yuck

I can't get my head around anything nowdays. I missed last week. I've stalled on learning how to program, although maybe I can energize my brain enough to get back into that. I'd hate not to finish that particular project. Understanding makes me all warm and fuzzy.

I've got absolutely nothing today. Really goddamned distressing.

Working ahead...

So I'm starting a story. And even if I finish it today, it's posting on 9/6/08. Cos I need to keep up with at least one a week, and if I can work ahead enough, it will get me through dry spells.

Of course, on the sixth, there may be just one sentance posted. Who knows?

Still thinking about world building. Not sure how to handle race, if at all. Do I need to become an anthropologist and figure out climates and cultures and clothing and appearances? I think I'll make the main setting as mixed ba… Continue
