Mortimer, sick of being a lonely widower, finally decided to give his heart to another. Maybe he did not decide so much as he was seduced. For awhile, he had a crush on both of the Caliente sisters, but Dina aggressively wooed and pursued Mortimer. All it took was a passionate kiss in front of her modest, two-bedroom house to seal the deal. He was in love and wanted her to move in immediately. I know what you might think; Mortimer is no dummy, and many women have done everything they could to try to win over the wealthy widower. He suspected that her unorthodox marriage propose to him may be money motivated, but he did not care; she was a good woman. Not only that but she was a young and beautiful woman. She looked nothing like Bella but maybe Dina would help him forget the painful memories that haunted him at night. So yes, she might be using him but he would be using her to, to help him recover from the loss of his beautiful Bella. Besides he still had desires he needed to fulfill. After abstaining for so many years, looking at the curves that Dina flaunted in that little black dress of hers made him feel alive again.

He was not only thinking of himself but of his son Alexander. Cassandra would be married any day now. The plan was for Don to move in and for them to start a family in the mansion, but Mortimer knew that four was a crowd. Mortimer had depended on Cassandra to mother Alex for too long. Though Casey loved her family, she and Alexander were not as close as they use to be. There weren't fighting, but I just think that she'd put so much time into her relationship with Don that maybe she neglected her family. After all, Don was a little on the needy side – not emotionally, but sexually. Casey was a good girl who was brought up in a good Christian home. She vowed to God that she would save herself for marriage. Don tried from the beginning of their relationship to seduce her using every possible angle, but nothing seemed to work – at least until he pulled out the big guns to prove of his commitment by taking her to his favorite restaurant and proposing. It was the first time he'd ever taken her anywhere and the ring was beautiful. Don was many things but he was never cheap, and he could afford; he was on the fast track to becoming an M.D. That thrilled Cassandra beyond imagination and she was swept away, by her emotions, she happily took his suggestion to go back to his place. That night she gave herself to him and he gently made passionate love to her.

As for Don's motives, I can't say for sure, but I know that he really loves her. She was the first girl who made him wait, and he could not help but have a new and profound respect for her. His love for her grew with time, and he had every attention of marrying her; the only question was when. Don was taken aback when he found out that Cassandra immediately starting planning the wedding. Not much thought went into the proposal and Don assumed that they would not marry for a few years. That would give him enough time to sow his wild oats and become a faithful husband. He'd never even takes women out on dates because of the many close calls he'd experienced through his life. He has not had much practice sleeping with just one woman but he believes that it will happen as soon as he says I do. He started his new life by dedicating every evening to romancing Cassandra.

Don can't stand to be alone for very long. With Cassandra working days now he makes sure to keep his black book handy. Who should he invite over, Nina of course. Nina, the red haired hottie, is the ultimate girl next door. She's athletic, independent and she fears commitment just as much as the next guy. Although she is a gorgeous woman she is surprisingly down to earth, unlike her high maintenance sister. She could make any man weak in the knees just by her natural animal magnetism. Nina answered the phone and in a sexy groggy morning voice she agreed to come right over. Don, in a Pavlov fashion, hears the doorbell and sprints down the stairs to greet her at the door. Within seconds of opening the door he grabs Nina and pulls her so close she practically melted into him. He asked her to join him in the hot tub. After marveling at Nina's body in the bikini that he couldn't wait to rip off, his heart stopped. What time is it? His maid would be there at any time. Though his in great shape he pants as he runs to the phone downstairs. The maid service receptionist was barely able to make out his cancelled his service request but ask that he to call back when he was ready to reschedule.

When he had more time, he would set up a request to try out a new maid. I know you're curious about why Don was suddenly so panicked. For now let me just say that his maid is a beautiful and sensual woman. The first day she came over, he knew it would not be long before he saw what she looked like without the uniform. It did not take Kaylynn long to figure out why Don insisted on following her from room to room as she cleaned his house. At first she was a little offended, but she found herself looking forward to Don seductive stares. It made her feel good to be wanted, especially wanted by someone as available as Don. Of course he was a hunk, but that was not it. He was her chance at having a real life, a family. She no longer fell for the empty promises of Daniel Pleasant; promises to leave his wife when the kids went away to college. He'd always proclaimed that his marriage was a loveless one, and his wife was just in it for the appearance of stability. It was her goal to become mayor of Pleasantville and she would do anything to please her future constituents. For now she was just a lowly lobbyist, but she had the drive to make it. "I don't understand! Why are you still with her?" Kaylynn would ask, and Danny would answer, "I admire her ambitions." Mary-Sue's all consuming passion was her career. Weak hugs and flannel pajamas had replaced the passion they once shared. But they had two children, Angela and Lilith, who'd be devastated if he left.

With that promise the countdown began for Kaylynn; she could wait for the twins to leave the house so that they could be together at last. The twins graduated and surprisingly ended up at not only the same school but in the same dorm. Kaylynn knew that Daniel would need some time to get them settled, so she waited patiently. But without warning then the in-laws moved in, staying in the girls's bedroom. He said that his wife was worried about her parents being on their own. Their health was fragile, and she wanted to be closer to them. Now, with this new financial responsibility, he could not leave Mary-Sue. Kaylynn finally realized that he would never leave his wife. Though she tried to wash away her pain by falling into Don's arms, she could not get Daniel out of her mind and heart. Although she considered quitting her job, she continued servicing Daniel daily. She dreamed of the day when they would be together. After all, she was not getting any younger, and she knew that if her dreams of having a big family were going to be realized, she would have to start soon. But, how do you motivate a man to leave his wife when he has no intention of doing so?
